Join Us Jan. 9 at 6am on Nahant Beach for Kangeiko 2022!

kangeiko 2022

Join us for a long-time Tabata-Ha training tradition: New Year’s Kangeiko, or Winter Training.

Year after year Sensei Tabata lead groups of students out on Nahant Beach shortly after New Year for early morning training as the sun rises. This year, we will be there again to welcome 2022 in style and say hello to the sun on Sunday morning, January 9th.

Dress appropriately for the temperature. Layers under or over your karategi are fine, as are hats and gloves.

We will meet on the end of Nahant Beach near Tides Restaurant & Pub and commence at 6am. Workout will include a light jog down the beach and various drills, culminating in a barefoot few minutes of kicking and whatnot in the shallows. Bring towels and dry clothing to leave in your vehicles.

All are welcome regardless of organization, affiliation, style, or skill level. Please circulate this invitation and invite your own friends and lists.

There is no charge.

We will meet at BLT’s Breakfast Brunch & Takeout at 176 Broad St. in Lynn (right nearby) at 8am following the workout.
